Skin Repair-4™
A doctor-formulated, 28-day clinical protocol that clears inflammatory skin conditions from within. Resets the gut-skin axis, lowers the insulin and IGF-1 signalling that drives sebum and inflammation, repairs the gut barrier, and rebuilds the microbial species that calm hormonal and immune-mediated skin disorders. Choose your variant: acne, eczema, or psoriasis.

Acne is a gut-skin axis problem before it is a skin problem.
The breakouts you see on the face, chest, and back are the surface expression of a deeper inflammatory and hormonal cascade that starts in the gut. Topical treatments alone cannot resolve this — they manage the surface while the root cause continues to fire.
Four drivers run in parallel. A gut microbiome tipped toward inflammation. Insulin and IGF-1 signalling that's amplifying sebum production. Hormonal clearance disrupted by a damaged estrobolome. An immune system over-responding to Cutibacterium acnes inside the follicle. Each driver feeds the others. Topical antibiotics and acid washes don't touch any of them.
This protocol resets all four. Phase 1 reduces the microbial, inflammatory, and biofilm load. Phase 2 rebuilds the species that lower systemic inflammation, regulate hormonal signalling, and restore the gut barrier. The DermaBiome Diet — dairy-free, low-glycemic, gluten-free — does the other half of the work by keeping insulin and IGF-1 calm.
Four mechanisms. Twenty-eight days. Inside-out.
Endotoxin Containment + Anti-Inflammatory Reset
Serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (2.5g SBI, 1.1g IgG) + Turmeric and Grape Seed botanical blend
Bacterial endotoxins (LPS) spilling from a leaky gut amplify the inflammatory cytokine cascade inside every follicle. Immunoglobulins bind LPS directly in the gut lumen before it crosses into circulation. Burdock and Cleavers support hepatic clearance of androgens and inflammatory metabolites. Turmeric extract and Grape Seed extract suppress NF-κB signalling — the master switch behind the inflammation that turns a clogged follicle into a cyst.
Phase 1 — cut the inflammatory load feeding every lesion.
Biofilm + Microbial Reset
NAC 2,400mg daily + enteric-coated essential oils (Oregano · Clove · Thyme · Phellodendron)
NAC's mucolytic action breaks down the Cutibacterium acnes biofilms that build up inside the pilosebaceous unit and that conventional antibiotics struggle to penetrate. The enteric-coated essential oil blend reduces the inflammatory and biofilm-producing species in the gut that drive systemic endotoxin load. Together: biofilm cleared, gut microbial load reduced, antibiotic dependency broken.
Phase 1 — strip biofilms, reset the gut load behind acne.
Microbial Rebuild + Estrobolome Restoration
Multi-strain probiotic + condition-specific strains + skin-targeted postbiotic
The foundational multi-strain probiotic rebuilds the Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus species depleted by long-term antibiotic acne therapy. Condition-specific probiotic strains (matched to your variant — Acne, Eczema, or Psoriasis) target the precise inflammatory pathway behind each presentation. The skin-targeted postbiotic delivers immune-modulatory benefits without requiring survival through the digestive tract. The estrobolome — the gut bacteria that regulate hormonal clearance — stabilises, calming cyclic and adult hormonal flares.
Phase 2 — rebuild the microbiome that calms the skin from within.
Sebum + Hormonal Recalibration
Pantothenic acid 500mg + Zinc + Nicotinamide + Vitex
High-dose Vitamin B5 drives Coenzyme A synthesis — the cofactor your body uses to metabolise fatty acids, reducing the substrate available for sebum production. Lower sebum means fewer clogged follicles. Zinc directly suppresses C. acnes activity and modulates androgen metabolism. Nicotinamide reduces inflammation in established lesions. Vitex (Chasteberry) supports hormonal balance in women with cyclic acne. This is the most acne-targeted nutrient stack in the protocol.
Phase 2 — calm sebum production at the source.
Backed by the gut-skin axis.
From breakouts to clear, calm skin.
Diagnostic test + Microbiome Doctor consult.
Complete your gut microbiome test (and skin microbiome test if recommended). A Microbiome Doctor reviews your results, identifies hormonal and insulin-resistance markers, selects the right variant (Acne, Eczema, or Psoriasis) for your presentation, and — where indicated — prescribes targeted antibiotics or topical agents.
Kill Phase — Eradication.
Immunoglobulin powder binds gut endotoxins. The anti-inflammatory botanical blend suppresses NF-κB inflammation and supports androgen clearance. Enteric-coated essential oils reduce the gut microbial load driving systemic LPS. NAC strips C. acnes biofilms and supports glutathione for die-off. Expect a temporary purge in the first 2-3 weeks — this is the protocol working.
Repair Phase — Rebuild.
Multi-strain probiotic restores foundational diversity and the estrobolome. Condition-specific probiotic strains (matched to your variant — Acne, Eczema, or Psoriasis) target the precise inflammatory pathway. Skin-targeted postbiotic + zinc + nicotinamide modulate immune tone. High-dose Pantothenic Acid + Vitex calm sebum and hormonal signalling. Most patients see fewer new lesions and faster healing by the end of Phase 2.
Maintain + Optional Extended RE-1.
Transition to Skin Maintain — daily probiotic + postbiotic for a minimum of 6 months. Dr Froomes strongly recommends adding the 500B CFU extended synbiotic for 4-12 weeks — patients who extend report the deepest, most sustained clearing. Continue the DermaBiome Diet (dairy-free, low-glycemic, gluten-free) for 3 months minimum.
Re-test your microbiome.
Repeat your gut microbiome test to objectively validate diversity gains, confirm reduction in inflammatory species, and review your overall metabolic-microbial profile. Selective reintroduction of well-tolerated foods begins at this point under clinical oversight.
Questions, answered.
Who is this protocol for?
Adults and older teens with inflammatory skin conditions — acne (inflammatory, cystic, hormonal, or post-antibiotic), eczema (atopic dermatitis), or psoriasis (plaque). Select your variant at checkout. Each variant shares the same gut-skin-axis foundation (immunoglobulin + botanicals + NAC + enteric oils + multi-strain probiotic + B5 blend + skin-targeted postbiotic) with condition-specific probiotic strains targeting the inflammatory pathway behind that presentation.
Do I need a Microbiome Doctor consult before starting?
Strongly recommended. A consult provides three things: a personalised review of your gut microbiome test (identifying hormonal markers, insulin resistance, and inflammatory signatures), variant selection (matching Acne/Eczema/Psoriasis to your specific presentation), and — where indicated — a prescription for targeted oral or topical agents. The protocol is designed to be used alongside clinical oversight rather than as a self-administered alternative.
My acne got worse in the first 1-2 weeks — should I stop?
No — this is the well-documented purge phase and one of the most common experiences during the first 2-3 weeks of any effective acne intervention. As the protocol clears existing follicular blockages and reduces inflammatory species in the gut, lesions already forming below the surface come up faster. Continue, drink 2.5-3L water daily, follow the diet strictly, and contact the clinic if the purge has not started easing by day 21.
How strict do I need to be with the dairy-free and low-glycemic diet?
Very strict during Phase 1 and Phase 2. Dairy and high-glycemic foods are the strongest dietary drivers of acne in the research literature — a single milky latte and a sugary breakfast cereal can keep IGF-1 elevated for the rest of the day. Whey protein powders are equally problematic. The 80/20 approach applies after the program, not during it. Once your skin is clear for 3 months, the clinic will guide selective reintroduction.
Can I take this with my existing acne medications?
Generally compatible with topical acne treatments (benzoyl peroxide, retinoids, azelaic acid). If you are on isotretinoin (Roaccutane), inform your Doctor — some supplements are paused during isotretinoin therapy. If you are on long-term oral antibiotics, the clinic will plan a controlled transition. Do not stop any prescribed medication abruptly.
Can I take this if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Please consult your treating doctor before starting. NAC and some botanical components are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The immunoglobulin powder and digestive enzymes are labelled pregnancy-safe but should still be cleared with your doctor.
How long until I see results?
Most patients see fewer new lesions forming by the end of Phase 2 (around day 21-28). Skin cell turnover takes ~28 days, and existing lesions need time to heal. Hormonal acne can take 2-3 months to fully respond. Patients who extend the 500B CFU synbiotic for 8-12 weeks consistently report the deepest, most sustained clearing across thousands of patients in Dr Froomes' practice.
What happens after the 28 days?
Transition to Skin Maintain (daily probiotic + postbiotic) for a minimum of 6 months — probiotic strains decline within 7-14 days of cessation without it. Continue the DermaBiome Diet principles for at least 3 months. Strongly consider the extended synbiotic protocol for 4-12 weeks for deeper clearing. Re-test your gut microbiome at the 6-month mark to objectively validate progress and decide whether continued intervention is needed.

Pregnancy: Some components of this protocol carry pregnancy advisories and are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your Microbiome Doctor for an alternative if this applies.
Allergens: The immunoglobulin powder is derived from bovine sources. The enteric-coated essential oil blend may contain sulphites and bovine gelatin. Review allergen labels before starting.
Skincare guidance: Use a gentle, pH-balanced, non-comedogenic routine alongside the program. Avoid harsh scrubs, alcohol-based toners, and over-exfoliation — these strip the barrier and increase oil production. Continue any prescribed topicals as directed.
