Microbiome Travel Pack
A doctor-designed 30-day protocol to protect your gut, immunity, and resilience while you travel. Travel hits the microbiome three ways — new pathogens in water, food and surfaces; schedule disruption to sleep, hydration and meals; and immune suppression from jet lag, stress and cabin air. This pack defends against all three.
Heads up: this sachet contains prebiotic fibre, which can exacerbate bloating in sensitive guts. If you are prone to bloating or have active SIBO, start with a lower box count or skip this add-on.
Travel breaks your gut in three places at once.
The moment you leave home, your microbiome faces a triple hit. New pathogens arrive through unfamiliar water, food, and surfaces. Schedule disruption throws off sleep, hydration, and meal timing — the rhythms your gut bacteria depend on. And immune suppression from jet lag, stress, and recirculated cabin air lowers your defences exactly when exposure is highest.
Most travel-related illness is preventable. This pack handles the internal defence; disciplined hygiene, smart food choices, and protected sleep close the loop.
Four components. One daily routine.
Multi-Strain Probiotic
Twice daily — morning with food, evening before bed
A broad multi-strain probiotic taken twice daily. Morning dose with breakfast buffers gastric acid and improves strain survival; the evening dose sustains coverage across the day.
Role: holds healthy strain coverage against unfamiliar food and water.
NK-Cell Immune Blend
1 daily — Andrographis · Vitamin C · Vitamin D3 · Zinc · EGCG
Primes natural-killer cell activity ahead of travel exposure. Begun a week before departure to build immune reserve, then continued daily through the trip.
Role: shores up immunity against jet lag, stress, and cabin-air suppression.
Yeast Probiotic
1 daily — Saccharomyces boulardii
A non-colonising yeast probiotic with the strongest evidence base for defending against traveller's diarrhoea. Works alongside the bacterial strains rather than competing with them.
Role: front-line defence against traveller's diarrhoea.
Immunoglobulin Concentrate
1 scoop nightly in water, away from food
Bovine serum-derived immunoglobulins taken before bed, mixed into cool water at least 30 minutes after food. Bind microbial toxins in the gut lumen overnight.
Role: mops up microbial toxins picked up during the day.
Built around how travel actually hits you.
Start before you fly. Run it every day.
Pre-travel loading.
Begin the NK-cell immune blend one tablet with breakfast, starting one week before you fly. This primes natural-killer cell activity so your immune reserve is built before you hit the airport.
Build the day's defence.
With breakfast: one multi-strain probiotic, one immune blend tablet, and one yeast probiotic. Taken with food so gastric acid is buffered and strain survival improves.
Clear and consolidate overnight.
Before bed: a second multi-strain probiotic dose, plus one scoop of immunoglobulin concentrate in 100-150ml cool water, at least 30 minutes after food. The immunoglobulins bind microbial toxins overnight.
Consistency over perfection.
Take it as soon as you remember, unless you're within 3 hours of the next dose — then skip it and never double up. Missing the occasional dose will not undo the protocol.
Questions, answered.
When should I start taking the pack?
Begin the NK-cell immune blend one week before departure to build immune reserve. Start the full daily routine — both probiotics, the immune blend, the yeast probiotic, and the immunoglobulin concentrate — from the day you travel, and run it daily for 30 days.
How do I take everything each day?
Morning, with breakfast: one multi-strain probiotic, one immune blend tablet, one yeast probiotic.
Evening, before bed: a second multi-strain probiotic, plus one scoop of immunoglobulin concentrate mixed into 100-150ml cool water, at least 30 minutes after food.
What is the RE-1 reset add-on, and how many boxes do I need?
It's a 3-in-1 daily sachet — probiotic, prebiotic, and postbiotic — designed to rebuild your microbiome as you travel. Take one sachet daily for the length of your trip. One box covers 7 days, so match your box count to your days away: 1 box for a week, 2 for a fortnight, 4 for a month, 8 for two months, or 12 for three months.
Can the reset add-on cause bloating?
It can in sensitive guts. The sachet contains prebiotic fibre, which feeds your bacteria — and in some people that fermentation produces bloating, particularly early on. If you are prone to bloating or have active SIBO, start with a lower box count, take it later in the day, or skip the add-on and run the core pack alone.
What if I miss a dose?
Take it as soon as you remember, unless you're within 3 hours of the next scheduled dose — in that case skip it and continue as normal. Never double up. Consistency matters more than perfection; the occasional missed dose will not undo the protocol.
Does it need refrigeration while I travel?
No. The pack is formulated to be shelf-stable and carry-on friendly, so you can keep it with you in hand luggage without a cold chain. Keep it out of direct heat and sunlight where you can.
What should I do if I get traveller's diarrhoea?
Hydrate aggressively with electrolytes, keep taking your probiotics, and eat plain food — rice, toast, banana. See a doctor if you have a fever above 38.5°C, blood in your stool, or symptoms lasting beyond 72 hours.
What else should I pack alongside it?
Keep your pack in your carry-on with: 60%+ alcohol hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes; a refillable water bottle (ideally with a filter); electrolyte sachets; sealed gut-friendly snacks like raw nuts, jerky and dark chocolate; and a basic kit of loperamide, paracetamol, rehydration salts and a thermometer.
Is it suitable if I have a dairy allergy?
The immunoglobulin concentrate is derived from a bovine source, so avoid it if you have a dairy allergy. Lactose intolerance is usually fine. If you're unsure, check with your treating practitioner before starting.
